Letter of Support for ITAMAR
|
I want to give a letter of support for the community of Itamar.
Hanukkah is a time of bringing light into the darkness. Itamar is a
small Jewish community in what may soon become a Palestinian
state. The stakes have never been higher, the danger greater or the need more
profound. The forces of darkness that threaten Israel are closing in on G-d’s
country with ever greater ferocity and speed.
The European Union has begun openly discussing serious proposals for forcibly
dividing Jerusalem in half and giving the Eastern side of the city to Hamas.
Clearly, the United Nations, the European Union and our country plan to
support the declaration of a terrorist PLO state in Judea, Samaria and East
Jerusalem. It's to happen sooner, rather than later and within just a few short
years if the hints dropped by the World Bank are any indication.
We find ourselves at the cross roads of history. The question is, do we have the
courage, the fortitude and the faith to act? The best place for them to start their attempt to implant a PLO state is in
Northern Samaria, which has a much lower Jewish population density and, they think, will therefore draw less resist-
ance. There are only four Jewish towns in that region. The Israeli government, with U.S. prodding, has already
stepped up its campaign of harassment and intimidation against these towns by forbidding them to build homes for
their families and threatening a prominent regional military religious school.
The Northern Samarian town of Itamar, a town you may have heard me speak about before. I’ve visited there, and
I’m telling you, if Itamar stands, and if we stand with her, with Almighty G-d’s help there can be no Arab state in
Northern Samaria. The UN knows this. The EU knows this. Our country knows this.
I am convinced this is where they will strike. And so this is where you and I need to be waiting for them when they
do. Itamar, which has very little in the way of money or resources but is big on heart and faith, needs our help. They
need our prayers and they need our money, for things like repairing a vital water pipe system, a new play ground, a
new park, a new synagogue. The list is long. Think of it as an opportunity to do a great deal of good. And think of it
also as an awesome opportunity to let these people know that they are not standing alone against the world and that
we are on their side.
Below is an excerpt from Israel National News that you can look at the whole article when you hit the link.
It’s about what cities they want to put as a priority to be sure and include in a Jewish state verses a Palestinian state:
Labor’s Cabinet Minister Avishai Braverman said he believes it is totally “nonsensical” to include towns such as
Itamar and Yitzhar on the list: “We have to retain 5% of Judea and Samaria, in which most of the Jewish settlers
live… and give Palestine 95% of the land.” In addition to Itamar and Yitzhar, the list of 42 “isolated” commun-
ities that Labor objects to retaining in Israel includes Kiryat Arba (population 7,300), (Bethel-Jacob’s ladder
happened) Beit El (5,600), Eli (2,800), the Jewish Community in (Hebron-where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
are buried) Hevron, Elon Moreh (Where G-d first appeared to Abraham and promised him all the land
he could see), towns in Gush Etzion and near Modiin (Chanukkah began), and more. read more >

Be Blessed!
Pastor Mark
This is crazy! Itamar is one community our tour group visited this year.
They are a small incredible community who like Joshua and Caleb
believe in possessing the Land G-d promised. I encourage you to
financially support this community and adopt them as your community
in Israel. Here is their website: Friends of Itamar
Be sure and explore their website. We don’t want people to blindly
support Israel as many times they give to a secular atheist govt. who
wants nothing to do with G-d and they work against biblical causes.
So this holiday season if you have even a small amount of money it
would be appreciated and for those in the U.S. It would be a tax
deductible donation. This Chanukkah may our good works shine!
